In 2017, our film  Butch: Legend of Langston  also won Best Oklahoma Short Film in the deadCenter Film Festival and is currently screening at festivals across the nation. Current projects include a feature length documentary on the life and career of legendary college basketball coach Eddie Sutton, and a short documentary on water sustainability.   Finding its namesake in the year explorer Sir Francis Drake left on his great life adventure, 1577 embodies Drake’s words to not be content “if our dreams come true because we have dreamed too little.”

His work with universities and over 40 nonprofits showcase his passion for creative storytelling. FAA 333 certified to fly Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, David regularly incorporates cinematic aerial video into his productions, lending a unique perspective to his films. With a Bachelor of Business Administration Finance degree, David is uniquely equipped to manage the financial and creative aspects of any project. David lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, K.K., and his sons Judah and Maximus.
